The 17th Edition of COSYTEC Users’ Club took place at the Hôtel SOFITEL Paris Arc de Triomphe (Paris – 8e) from 22nd to 23rd June 2017.
As for the previous editions, this traditional event has given the opportunity to all participants to discover the latest developments, functionalities, applications and implementations performed with CHIP and OPTI-CHANNEL.
This 17th edition of the Users' Club has allowed more than fifty participants to attend over a dozen testimonials and presentations given by COSYTEC’s customers and partners within a very cosy environment, located in the heart of Paris.
The customers’ testimonials have focused on Resource Planning and Scheduling in the areas of Transport, Emergency Services and Broadcast (CORSICA Linea, Fire & Rescue Department of Rhone and Lyon Metropole, ARTE, EURONEWS, France Medias Monde, Radio Télévision Suisse, GFI Informatique). These different operational use cases, coming from different sectors, have provided more exchanges and led to many fruitful discussions among participants.
Participants also attended more prospective presentations of our partners from Universities and Research Centers (Universities of Antwerp and Lille, Institut Cognition/CNRS, Hochschule für Wirtschaft, Technik und Kultur/Berlin), as well as that of the science writer Claire Wagner-Rémy, on more general topics (reasoning, complexity, cognition, operational strategy, digital transformation) related to our Constraint Programming technology and its applications. These two days were closed by the presentations of new features of CHIP and OPTI-CHANNEL, together with demonstrations, reflecting a constant will to improve these two products.
The great success of this event was a fresh illustration of world-wide and productive synergy around CHIP technology of Constraint Programming and Optimization, and OPTI-CHANNEL software package of Resource Planning and Scheduling.
Looking forward to the 18th Edition...
